About Scilab

Scilab is free open source software with a GPL compatible license, developed by the Scilab Consortium.

All Scilab libraries are free with accepted and recognized licenses by the FLOSS community (Free, Libre Open Source Software). The license is one of the key criteria for the selection of a library of Scilab.

The Scilab Consortium encourages its team to contribute to third party projects which are used in Scilab. This is regularly done in different ways by:

• reporting bugs
• providing patches
• providing feedback

Over the years, contributions have been numerous on projects such as gfortran, matio, lapack, hdf5, jhdf, jgraphx, autoconf, automake, libtool, coin-or, getfem, indefero, kdbg, OpenMPI, Launchpad, flexdock…

The Scilab Consortium R&D Team is also in touch with many packagers of GNU/Linux, Unix and BSD distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, Mandriva, Gentoo, Redhat, Fedora, OpenSolaris) in order to help them to provide Scilab in their distributions in the best possible way.

What is VMAP?

VMAP is an experimental modal analysis and FEA-Test correlation software developed by TechPassion.

VMAP represents the convergence of virtual prototyping and prototype testing. There are several parameters that cannot be modeled accurately in existing virtual prototyping tools and are dependent on experimental methods.

VMAP bridges this gap between virtual prototyping and experimentation in product design cycle especially in the development of automotive, aerospace and energy systems. The system significantly improves productivity of product design teams by not only cutting costs and development time but also intangibles associated with inaccuracies in design.

VMAP is a versatile software platform powered by accurate and efficient algorithms, friendly user-interfaces, rich and fast graphics and supports industry-standard file formats.

VMAP is used in various design stages as a design, diagnosis and manufacturing quality assurance tool. As a platform, it powers applications in several industries. There are customized tools built on VMAP to meet the increasing demand for VMAP in different industries -automotive, aerospace, energy, civil engineering, marine, off-shore structures.

Introduction

ELC catalyst equipment enables use of low-grade fuel oil instead of  high-grade fuel one by simple catalyst compositions. Through this, this equipment makes economically feasible, more fuel efficient and lower emission of environmental pollution.

In case the vessel and power plant on the land using Diesel oil(MGO) installs ELC catalyst equipment on board and power plant, B-A(MFO) can be used instead of Diesel oil(MGO) as a main fuel oil.

Process

ELC Catalyst equipment has following five factors (Patented items). The molecule of B-A is modified the same characteristic like diesel oil (MGO) through the following five factors.

  • ELC Catalyst and Equipment (ELC’s own technology)
  • Bubble generator (invented by ELC’s own technology))
  • Magnet (12,000G) and equipment
  • Heat preservation Far infrared rays catalyst and equipment (ELC’s own technology)
  • Heat preservation Anion catalyst and equipment (ELC’s own technology)

Process flow sheet (Patented items)


(1,6) Spin wave Catalyst: Catalyst of Nano sized molecule of Photosynthesis materials with solid and liquid type catalyst developed by ELC own technology. This process makes the maximization of the minute particles of the fuel oil through high density gas spreads out extensively on the fuel oil.
(2) Bubble generator: This process makes smaller particles of fuel oil through creating countless tiny bubbles (high density) and then breaking these bubbles.
(3) Magnet (12,000G) and Equipment (3): This process makes that the small particles of fuel oil through bobble generator (2) does not combine again by magnetic force.
(4) Heat preservation Far infrared rays catalyst and equipment (4): The far infrared rays which is longer than 25 ym. This process makes the maximization of the minute particles of the fuel oil.
(5) Heat preservation Anion Catalyst and equipment: This process makes anion and saves heat which is released outside. So, this makes the fuel oil particle smaller.
